Hi! I bring a unique blend of expertise to the table with a solid foundation in data science, bioinformatics, and software engineering. I apply a multi-disciplinary and systems-level view across a spectrum of data + tools to advance domain knowledge. In problem-solving, I frequently leverage machine learning to learn representations of data and then utilize them in downstream tasks such as data integration, general modeling, and similarity comparisons. Engineering and building neat and reproducible software pipelines is an additional skill of mine that I can give + contribute to the teams I work with.
Personally I absolutely loved calculus, enjoy bike rides, am fascinated by art, love nature, and when time allows… I read on AI applications and trends over time.

A bit on my education and background... I discovered a remarkable joint program between PSU and OHSU that enabled me to pursue both my undergraduate CS degree and Bioinformatics and Computational Biomedicine master's degree in just five years. Undertaking this endeavor required immense dedication and hard work, but what truly made it transformative was the profound shift in my perspective. I had the invaluable opportunity to immerse myself in the realms of both computer science and Bioinformatics (Biology/Molecular Biology , Chemistry, Statistics, Algorithms/Programming) simultaneously, gaining insights from both disciplines and experiencing the best of both worlds.
