About

Senior Bioinformatics Software Engineer
A bit on my education and background... I fast-tracked my academic journey through a joint PSU-OHSU program, earning a BS in Computer Science and a Master’s in Bioinformatics & Computational Biomedicine in just five years. This unique experience gave me the invaluable opportunity to immerse myself in the realms of both computer science and Bioinformatics (Biology/Molecular Biology , Chemistry, Statistics, Algorithms/Programming) simultaneously, gaining insights from both disciplines and experiencing the best of both worlds.
I'm especially passionate about the potential of knowledge graphs to connect diverse datasets, uncover hidden patterns, and enable new discoveries in biomedical research.
Outside of work, you'll find me biking, gardening, exploring art and nature, or curled up with a good book. I cherish spending time with my daughter, whose curiosity and perspective inspires me every day.
